Check-In is at 4:00 p.m. and Check-Out is at 11:00 a.m.  All guests ( including Lodge and Cottage guests) check in and out at the hotel registration desk.

A deposit equal to one night's rate is required within seven days of booking a reservation.

Cancellations must be received seven days in advance.  Cancellations with less than seven days advance notice are subject to full charges.

Due to high demand, from Memorial Day weekend thru the month of October, we generally require a minimum two-night reservation on weekends.

Please note that there is no in-room phone service at the Lodge or Cottages.

Smoking is permitted only in designated areas of the saloon.

No pets, please.  We love animals, but as a courtesy to all our guests, we kindly ask that you make other arrangements for your pets.

Hotel rooms 1 - 6 are located on the first floor; rooms 8 - 23 are on the second floor.  The hotel has an elevator available for guests with special needs, and our main entrance is wheelchair accessible.

There is a veranda deck with a river view on the second floor, open to all guests of the hotel.

Your stay at the Ruebel Hotel includes a continental breakfast, served from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m.

From Alton, Illinois, take the Meeting of the Great Rivers Scenic Byway (Great River Road, Illinois Route 100) west to Grafton.  The hotel is in the middle of the third block in town on the left, across from the Amoco station.

From St. Louis and St. Charles, Missouri, take the Grafton Ferry to Grafton and turn left on Main Street.  The hotel is two blocks down on the right.

From Jerseyville and points north, take Illinois Route 109 to Illinois Route 3.  Take Route 3 west/south to Grafton's Main Street and turn left.  The hotel is two blocks down on the right.
